Field Labels

In Field Labels, you can change the names of system fields in both the Admin portal and Agent interface to meet your individual business needs.

This simple adjustment lets you continue using the terminology your users already know and helps them transition to using DCDial. However, DCDial Help pages will always display the original names for the system fields.

For example, you can change the name label for the "Account Description" to "Company Name", and change the field "Account ID" to "Customer ID." When you rename a system field, the new name appears on all pages the user sees in the Admin portal, Agent interface, and Payment portal.

You will see a confirmation once the Agent Label has been created successfully and you will be redirected to the agent label details page to complete the setup process.

  • Agent Label Name
Enter a unique name.
  • Agent Label Description
Enter a description.

STEP 2. Configure the Agent Label settings and define the new names for each system field on the agent label details page. If you want to hide the value for any of the fields, check the 'Hide' box next to the field name. When done, click on ‘Submit’ to save your changes.

  • Hide Labels in Call Logs

  • Label

Enter a unique name for the field as you want it displayed in the Agent interface.

Associations

  • Campaigns

MODIFY AGENT LABEL

Click on to Modify the Agent Label.

SYSTEM LABELS

To customize the system field names in your admin portal, simply add a new label name using the System Labels feature. Any name change that is defined here will be applied throughout the system and the default name will no longer be visible.

To change a system field label, type the name in the empty box next to the label you would like to change. If the label box is left empty, the system will use the default label listed in the Field column. Click on 'Submit' to save any changes.
