State Dialing Strategy

The State Dialing Strategy allows you to set state-specific calling options and restrictions:

1. Enable or disable dialing for a specific state.

2. Assign different broadcast messages for each state

3. Enable or disable answering machine messages per state.

4. Assign different answering machine messages for each state.

5. Restrict which phone types can be dialed for each state.

Please note: State Dialing Strategies will override campaign settings as well as Time Zone Strategies.

  •  Actions


  • Associations: Hover over the icon to view the campaigns using the strategy.
  • Active: The strategy is active. Click on the icon to deactivate the strategy.
  • Inactive: The strategy is inactive. Click on the icon to activate the strategy.
  • View Activity Log: Click the icon to view a summary of events. Learn More About the Activity Log
  • Modify: Click the icon to modify the state dialing strategy. Learn More About Modifying State Dialing Strategy
  • Delete: Click the icon to delete the strategy. A confirmation screen will appear to confirm the deletion.

CREATE STATE DIALING STRATEGY

STEP 1. Click on the 'Create State Dialing Strategy' button on the top right to create a new strategy. Complete the required fields in the pop-up window and click on 'Create' to proceed. You will see a confirmation once the State Dialing Strategy is created successfully, and you will be redirected to the strategy details page to complete the setup process.

  • State Dialing Strategy Name
Enter a unique name.
  • State Dialing Strategy Description
Enter a description.

STEP 2. Configure the State Dialing Strategy settings on the strategy details page. Once the state is enabled, you can assign a custom contact schedule, a broadcast message, an answering machine message, and define which phone types can be dialed for the state. When done, click on ‘Submit’ to save your changes.

First, you have to enable each state that you want to include in the strategy by checking the box on the left from the state abbreviation. The strategy will not affect deactivated states.


  • State

The state abbreviation.

  • Dialable

Check the box under this column if you would like the leads in this state to be dialed. If this option is disabled, the strategy will prevent any calls to that state.

  • Contact Schedule

Assign the contact schedule for the state. Hover over the contact schedule name to preview the selected schedule.

  • Broadcast MSG

You can select a broadcast message for a specific state. Click on the field to select an audio file. To select a TTS (text-to-speech) message, check the 'TTS' box.

Please note: This setting only applies to campaigns that use the Voice Broadcast dial mode.

  • Leave MSG Status

If an answering machine is detected, you have the option to leave a message. The icon means that a message will be left, while theicon means that no message will be left.

Please note: This setting only applies if a campaign's answering machine detection (AMD) feature is activated.

  • AMD MSG

If the 'Leave MSG' option is enabled for the state, you can define a specific answering machine message for the state. Click on the field to select an audio file. To select a TTS (text-to-speech) message, check the 'TTS' box.

  • Home Work Mobile Other

You can choose to activate specific phone types for the state by clicking on the shield icon.

MODIFY STATE DIALING STRATEGY

Click onto Modify the State Dialing Strategy.
