Follow these steps to create and share a payment link:

Access Payment Link:
  • Click on the 'Payment Link' option from the main dashboard or Quick Actions menu.

Select or Add a Contact:

  • Choose a recipient for the payment link from your list of contacts. You can search for a specific contact or add a new one by clicking 'Add New Contact'.
  • Alternatively, you can parse contacts from the current webpage by clicking “Show Page Contacts”.

Payment Details

This section allows you to define how much the customer should pay and whether they can modify the amount or incur additional fees.

  • Amount:
Enter the specific amount you want the customer to pay. If this field is optional and you leave it blank, the customer will be prompted to enter the amount themselves when making the payment.

  • Allow Modification:
Enable this option if you want the customer to have the ability to edit the payment amount. When turned OFF, the customer will be required to pay the exact amount specified.

  • Apply Convenience Fee:
Toggle this ON to automatically add a convenience fee on top of the payment amount. This helps offset processing or service costs and will be included in the total charged to the customer.

Configure Link Validity:

  • Specify the due date for the payment and set an expiry date for the payment link to establish when the link will become inactive.

Sharing Options:

  • Decide how you want to share the payment link with your customer. You can choose to send it via email, SMS, or both.

Preview and Send:

  • Click 'Preview' to review the payment request before sending it. This helps ensure all information is correct.
  • Once you've confirmed the details, click 'Send link' to share the payment request with your customer.
Follow Up:
  • After sending the payment link, you can track its status from Notifications > Payment Link Preview or Contact Details > Activity. The status will show whether the link is opened, completed, canceled, or expired.

By utilizing the Payment Link feature, you streamline the payment process, making it easier and faster for your customers to fulfill their invoices.
